Privacy

What the site collects, and what it does not.

Effective September 20, 2026. This notice describes the services currently active on OMG News Network and will be updated before new advertising or audience services begin collecting data.

Information you choose to provide

When you join The OMG Brief, the signup form sends your email address, consent choice, and related signup details to beehiiv, our newsletter provider. Double opt-in is enabled, so the subscription is not complete until you use the confirmation link sent to your inbox.

Beehiiv processes newsletter data for delivery, list management, security, and performance reporting under its privacy policy. We use that information only to operate and improve The OMG Brief. You can unsubscribe from any edition or email privacy@omgnewsnetwork.com to request access, correction, or deletion. We may keep limited records when reasonably necessary for suppression, security, legal, or compliance purposes.

The site has no reader accounts, comments, or direct purchases at launch.

Technical delivery data

Hosting and network providers may process basic request information, such as IP address, browser details, requested page, timestamps, and security signals, to deliver and protect the site. Their handling is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Analytics, advertising, and affiliate links

OMG News Network uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device and browser categories, and how quickly pages load. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first: it does not use cookies or local storage for analytics, fingerprint individual readers, or track readers across Cloudflare customers.

The standalone Soul Sketch affiliate feature at /soulsketch uses ClickMagick for advertising attribution and Meta Pixel for landing-page PageView events. ClickMagick sends offer-click, checkout, and purchase events to connected advertising platforms, including Meta and Google. Providers may process page URLs, browser and device data, IP addresses, cookies, and advertising click identifiers to measure advertising and build remarketing audiences. The feature honors Global Privacy Control and provides an advertising-tracking opt-out in its footer. These tools are scoped to the feature and are not installed across news articles. See the feature’s privacy notice for details.
